    fmic

    tomorrow my vr4 motor comes in and i am putting it in my 91 sl i have everything for the most part so far but i need a fmic and do not have a lot of money i wasgoing to do a ebay set up and was wondering if anyone has done it and is there a writeup on it?

    Your best bet would be a cxracing kit or the one from SSM (sponsor on this board). I don't think you can beat those prices. The eBay kit is the cxracing one if you're looking for the full kit and many people have installed that setup and given positive reviews.

    i saw that byt the thing i dont get where does the bov go in that kit? and what is a good size core to use?

    It doesn't do anything with the kit. If you're doing a conversion to a TT the bypass valve goes into the intake bubble underneath the y-pipe. As for a core, we must be thinking something different here because the core comes with the kit. Take your pick

    that kit sats just the pipes for it and alright that is what i was confused about

    I built my own with stock SMIC piping, cxracing 90degree 3" bends, an ebay Y-pipe, and an ebay core. Whole thing cost I think a little north of $300 and worked great.



    It's super simple to do.
